Our Commercial Operator Classification Specifications
The most significant distinction between commercial and residential garage door openers is the frequency of use. But even among commercial garage openers, frequency of use is still a major factor to consider when shopping for a new garage door opener.
At Southwest Overhead Door, we carry the following commercial operator classifications:
- Heavy Duty Operators: Our heavy-duty RHX operators can run up to 60 cycles/hour even under a large, constant load.
- Standard Duty Operators: Our standard-duty RSX operators can operate up to 60 cycles/hours during peak times only.
- Medium Duty Operators: Our medium-duty RMX operators can run at 15 cycles/hour.
- Light Duty Operators: Our light-duty CDX operators operate at a rate of 4 cycles/hour.

Commercial Door Opener Timer to Close Module

Auxiliary Output Module for Commercial Door Operators
Provides dry relay contacts at door limit positions, lamp output contacts and a selectable ADA output to sound a horn or run a flashing light. Available for RMX®, RSX®, and RHX® operators.
